Compliance program gives everyone more confidence
The topic of Compliance has top priority at Siemens Enterprise Communications in Germany. Since the beginning of this year, all departments and regions have been actively implementing the new Siemens Compliance Program. The program also gives customers, partners and suppliers more confidence as well.
In recent weeks, all compliance-related processes were checked once again at Siemens Enterprise Communications and concrete measures implemented to ensure that all internal and external transactions comply with company policies.
On the surface, this won't make any difference to the relationships with our customers and partners, but internally all compliance-related processes will be monitored and documented even more strictly than before. For example, our sales people will be trained to act in a manner appropriate to compliance, and contracts will be made more transparent and redesigned to better reflect compliance-related aspects.
Overall, the new Compliance Program also gives the customers, partners and suppliers of Siemens Enterprise Communications more confidence, since it provides a contractual foundation with them that ensures – as before – a high degree of reliability in their dealings with Siemens Enterprise Communications and ensures that future contracts will be executed in compliance with all appropriate company policies and legal requirements.
