Siemens and AT&T

Background

Global and large multi-national corporations are looking to outsource their communication needs and they are looking for a single point of contact for this managed service. As businesses grow through geographic expansion, acquisitions, partnerships, etc., a fully managed solution from reliable industry leaders like AT&T and Siemens enables the customer to focus on their core business drivers and cut communication costs at the same time.

Teaming Up

This partnership provides customers with an end-to-end fully managed convergence solution and offers them greater flexibility in selecting the level of managed support that best fits their business objectives and requirements. Through this partnership, AT&T and Siemens have made a joint commitment not only to deploy innovative products and services, but also to deliver the highest levels of customer service, worldwide.

Opening new doors

Siemens and AT&T have executed a Global Master Subcontracting Agreement positioning Siemens Enterprise Communications as a key partner to manage voice infrastructure for AT&T’s global enterprise customers. This Agreement enables Siemens Enterprise Communications and AT&T to work together to close multi-vendor voice managed services opportunities including technology refresh around the globe. Multi-vendor services consist of maintenance services support of non-Siemens PBX equipment and may include multi-lingual vendor coordination, service desk support and maintenance.

The ‘Siemens and AT&T’ Edge

Businesses constantly strive to reduce operating costs and address technology changes while improving network availability and performance. Managed services offer significant financial flexibility, reduction of operating costs, non-capital-intensive financial models and financial transparency for compliance purposes. By working together, AT&T and Siemens can help customers address the challenges of integrating and managing their networks and help them reduce their total cost of ownership (TCO). No investment is required to train staff and purchase expensive test and monitoring equipment and customized levels of support are available to address a customer’s specific business objectives.
